🍹 New Orleans Classic

Ingredients

2 oz Dark rum
2 oz White rum
2 oz Passion fruit juice
1 oz Orange juice
1 oz Fresh lime juice
1 oz Simple syrup
½ oz Grenadine
1 Orange slice + cherry (for garnish)

Instructions

Add both rums, passion fruit juice, orange juice, lime juice, simple syrup, and grenadine to a shaker.
Fill with ice and shake vigorously.
Strain into a hurricane glass filled with ice.
Garnish with an orange slice and cherry.

📜 Pat O'Brien's

Created in the 1940s at Pat O'Brien's bar in New Orleans' French Quarter. The bar needed to move excess rum during WWII whiskey shortages – the Hurricane was born.
