Pro Tips

🎬 The Bond Debate

James Bond famously orders his vodka martini "shaken, not stirred." Technically, stirring is traditional (shaking can "bruise" the spirit and add dilution), but shaking makes it colder and adds tiny air bubbles. Do what you prefer.

🍋 Twist vs Olive

Lemon twist: Brighter, more aromatic, cleaner finish
Olive: Savory, richer, slightly briny
A "Dirty Martini" adds olive brine for extra savoriness.

🥂 Vermouth Ratios

Wet: More vermouth (1:3 ratio)
Dry: Less vermouth (1:6 ratio)
Extra Dry: Just a rinse of vermouth
Bone Dry: No vermouth at all (just cold vodka)
